PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) operates a coal mine in Sangatta East Kalimantan and is one of the largest export coal mines in the world. Coal Production in 2006 is expected to exceed 30 Mtpa and there are plans to further expansion in 2007 and beyond.
In material movement terms, KPC is also one of the largest open pit mines in the world with a fleet of over 200 haul trucks and 30 shovels moving over 2 milions tones of material per day.

Senior Mining Engineer (code: SMNE)
Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mining/Mineral), Engineering (Others), Geology/Geophysics or equivalent.
* Required language(s): Bahasa Indonesia.
* Preferred language(s): English.
* At least having working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Applicants must be willing to work in Sangatta – East Kalimantan.
* Applicants should be Indonesian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
* Preferably Coordinator/Supervisors specializing in Geology/Geophysics or equivalent.
