Assistant Laboratory Manager
Responsibilities:
* Oversee the day to day operation of the laboratory
* Ensure timely processing and storage of all cord blood units
* Identify and recommend process development/ improvements in processing and storage of cord blood units
* Responsible for competency testing and ensure adherence to documented procedures and protocols
* Interface with doctors and internal staff to ensure adherence to lab and regulatory requirements
* Maintain safe and clean working environment in the lab
* To be the speaker for internal and public talks, if necessary
Requirements:
* Bachelor in Science/ Biomedical/ Biotechnology or other related life sciences disciplines
* Relevant quality assurance and regulatory compliance experience
* Strong sense of responsibility and commitment
* Ability to lead and motivate lab staff
* At least 3-5 years of hands-on and related experience or industry
* Experience in the use of sterile technique
* Experience in processing of umbilical cord blood would be an advantage
